While I have no feelings about trios either way (I rarely played Trios, mostly Duos or Squads), the gamemode might not have had the necessary play counts to keep it active enough? I know that the playercount shows how many people play BR, zero-build, Team Rumble and so on, but does it also split between Solo, Duo, Trio & Squad? If not, it might be possible that Trio was, in comparison to the other 3 modes, less played and didn't seem to be worth keeping, given that trios could also play squad with 1 person filling in or adding another friend when possible.Įpic only listens to what they want to listen to, that has been the case for a while and will continue probably until the end of either Fortnite as a whole or Epic Games.
